The result continues a run of poor form for Sky Blue as the team has won just once in its last eight games, leaving them in fifth place. FC Gold Pride has already clinched a playoff spot, and they played to a 0-0 draw with the Washington Freedom on Saturday, while the Philadelphia Independence rallied from two goals down against the Atlanta Beat to record a 3-2 win, with two goals coming from Tina DiMartino.
